On this day, August 29, 1958, one of the biggest names in music was born in Gary, Indiana. Music Phenom Michael Jackson captivated audiences around the world for over four decades.

Michael Jackson’s solo career took off in the 1970s with albums like “Off the Wall” (1979), which included hits like “Don’t Stop ‘Til You Get Enough” and “Rock with You.” However, it was his 1982 album “Thriller” that catapulted him to global superstardom. “Thriller” is one of the best-selling albums of all time. It featured iconic tracks like “Billie Jean,” “Beat It,” and the title track “Thriller.” The music video for “Thriller” was groundbreaking and is often considered one of the greatest music videos ever made.
