Oklahoma City Thunder superstar Shai Gilgeous-Alexander accepted the NBA’s Most Valuable Player award Wednesday night before Game 2 of the Western Conference Finals at the Paycom Center, and his teammates are already benefiting from his success.

During a celebration organized by the Thunder, the 25-year-old point guard surprised his teammates with extravagant gifts valued at approximately $10,000 each. Every Thunder player received a gift basket that included Rolex watches, iPhones, Beats by Dre headphones, and custom Canada Goose jackets emblazoned with a 68-14 emblem. “This is nothing compared to what they have been to me,” Gilgeous-Alexander said. “I’d rather have the MVP over a Rolex every day of the week — and without them, I wouldn’t have the MVP. So this is, in the slightest, what they deserve.”
