On this day, September 11, 1977, rapper, actor and entrepreneur, Christopher Brian Bridges AKA Ludacris was born in Champaign, Illinois.

Ludacris gained fame in the early 2000s when he took the hip-hop music scene by storm. He is known for his witty and often humorous lyrics, as well as his charismatic stage presence.

Some of Ludacris’s most popular songs include “What’s Your Fantasy,” “Stand Up,” “Rollout and “Money Maker.” He has released several successful albums, including “Back for the First Time,” “Word of Mouf,” and “Release Therapy.”

In addition to his music career, Ludacris has also pursued acting and has appeared in various films, including the “Fast & Furious” franchise, where he portrayed the character Tej Parker. His work in the music and entertainment industry has earned him numerous awards including three Grammy’s.
