The 18 song soundtrack featured music from some of the biggest names in music including: Justin Timberlake, Lenny Kravitz, Pharrell, Nelly, Fat Joe, P. Diddy, Beyonce, Notorious B.I.G., Snoop Dogg, Mary J. Blige, Da Brat, Jay Z, and more.
The soundtrack sold over 300,000 units in the first week, and was certified platinum the same month, with over one million albums sold. This Bad Boys II soundtrack was one of the most successful movie soundtracks ever released. One of the tracks, “Shake Ya Tailfeather”, by Nelly, P. Diddy, and Murphy Lee won a Grammy for Best Rap Performance by a Duo or Group.
