Samuel Monroe Jr. is known for his roles in The Players Club, Menace II Society, Lockdown, Tales from the Hood, and Set It Off. He made a name for himself as one of the best bad guys and gang bangers of all time. In every role he plays, he is completely convincing that he could be that type of person in real life. This is a testament to his acting abilities. Monroe has appeared in some of the best so-called hood movies of all time, Cult Classics. Now the legendary actor is fighting for his life after reportedly contracting meningitis and developed MRSA pneumonia.

According to recent news, his mother has confirmed that he is on life support in the ICU. She has requested prayers even though he is reported to be in stable condition. They also request privacy while he recovers. We here at The Fleet Mag will also keep this brother in our prayers and thoughts. We lose our legends and great ones too soon, without giving them their flowers while they are alive. From me to you, brother, I pray that you recover soon and return in good health, body, and mind.
While our good brother recovers, here is an opportunity to learn about him as a person, and get reacquainted with some of his classic movies.
I will keep you posted if there are any changes in Samuel Monroe Jr.’s condition. You just have to stay tuned to The Fleet Mag, and I got you. Stay Positive and Keep Moving forward.
