Once again, Ray J is making headlines, but this time his reported actions have taken a serious turn for the worse.
Early Thanksgiving morning, Ray J went live on social media from his home. What began as a rant about family and tensions quickly turned into something disturbing and dangerous. The footage starts with him saying, “This is the worst Thanksgiving in the f****** world bro.” He goes on to say, “Ain’t nobody taking my kids from me on Thanksgiving,” as he allegedly picks up a handgun and loads it.
As the livestream continued, Princess Love, his estranged wife and the mother of his two children, appeared holding their daughter and accused Ray J of pointing the firearm at her with the child in her arms. They both go back and forth, trading insults with Ray J calling Princess Love an alcoholic, and her calling him a woman beater.
The situation escalates as Princess Love’s cousin enters the home with her husband to get Love and Ray J’s son. Ray J quickly turns his attention toward the man, and his voice can be heard saying, “I’ll shoot the f*** out of you.” Immediately after, the sounds of a struggle can be heard along with a child crying hysterically. Moments later, the police arrive and arrest Ray J on felony charges for “making a criminal threat.” His bond was set at $50,000. A man who identified himself as Ray J’s manager posted his bail, and the singer/actor was released.

The incident raises concern about the anger displayed and alleged threats of violence made that could affect the kids emotionally and mentally. Ray J and Princess Love have had a nearly ten-year-long, volatile relationship. The two were married in 2016 and have filed for divorce four times. Furthermore, this wasn’t their first altercation that made headlines.
Over the years, Ray J has reportedly had a few run-ins with the law. He’s even made posts on social media about being suicidal and admitted to using drugs and alcohol.
Is Ray J merely craving for attention to turn on a livestream during a family dispute, or is it a cry for help? Either way, fans are in his corner, encouraging him to get the help he needs to get his life back on track.
