Cori Broadus, the daughter of iconic rapper, actor, and businessman, Snoop Dogg, revealed on social media that she suffered a severe stroke and was hospitalized.

There are reports that the stroke may have stemmed from problems with her kidneys due to the effects of the auto immune disease lupus. Broadus has been candid about her challenges with lupus and coping with the illness since being diagnosed at the age of 6. Lupus is an auto immune disease in which your immune system will attack your tissue and organs causing inflammation that can affect the heart, lungs, brain, and kidneys. Over the years she has spoke out about several lifestyle changes she’s endured to improve her health which includes a healthy diet.

Broadus is a successful business owner, entrepreneur, and singer. She is the CEO of “Choc Factory by CHOC,” which is a beauty and apparel company. She also shares a special talent for music just like her father. Snoop Dogg may be one of the hottest rappers in the world but Cori can compete with the best as a vocalist.

Broadus lastest post on social media stated that she has been released from the hospital and is thankful to her fans for their prayers and well wishes. She also said she will be speaking out more in depth soon about her health scare.
