Busta Rhymes Receives Lifetime Achievement Award

On June 27th, 2023, the BET Awards honored rapper Busta Rhymes with the Lifetime Achievement Award. The award recognizes Rhymes’ contributions to the music industry and his impact on hip-hop culture over the course of his career.

Busta Rhymes, born Trevor George Smith Jr., began his career in the late 1980s as a member of the group Leaders of the New School.
