Founder of Bad Boy Records and CEO Sean Diddy Combs has been taken into federal custody and charged with racketeering conspiracy, sex trafficking, and transportation for prostitution. A federal judge ruled that Combs will remain in custody while he awaits trial, though his attorney Marc Agnifilo suggested 50 million dollar bail with home detention. The rap mogul has pled not guilty to the charges. Agnifilo attorney says his client has been nothing but cooperative during the investigation and voluntarily relocated to New York anticipating the charges. Ultimately Combs bond was denied.<\/p>\n\n\n\n
The unsealed indictment against Combs is making headlines as it contains many disturbing details of the accusations he’s facing, even accusing him of conducting what is known as “Freak Offs.” The term was used to describe sex parties which allegedly involved transporting women across state lines and internationally to his location and coercing them into having sex with commercial sex workers. These parties allegedly lasted for days at times and victims received IV fluids to recover from the physical exertion and drug use.<\/p>\n\n\n\n
During a search of Combs homes in Miami and Los Angeles earlier this year, the indictment states law enforcement seized various Freak Off supplies including narcotics and more than 1,000 bottles of baby oil and lubricant. It also states several of Combs employees such as security staff, household staff, assistants, and supervisors played a role to carry out, facilitate, and cover up the abuse and commercial sex.
