Reportedly, the rap star was arrested on alleged misdemeanor battery charges following a &#8220;physical altercation.&#8221;  The LAPD posted on X (formally Twitter), about the arrest.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p><em>&#8220;LAPD NEWS: Sunday Arrest Incident On Sunday February 4th\u00a0just after 4pm a male adult was detained &amp; handcuffed for a physical altercation that occurred at the 700 block of Chick Hearn Court. The suspect was placed under arrest and\u00a0 was transported to LAPD Central Division&#8221;<\/em><\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>In a separate post the LAPD followed up identifying the suspect as Render.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p><em>&#8220;The suspect has been identified as 48-year-old Michael Render and booked for Misdemeanor Battery 243(A) PC, and is in the process of being released&#8221;.<\/em><\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>Killer Mike was arrested after accepting his third Grammy award of the night.
