Louisiana native Lil Boosie is at the center of a controversial situation. The principal of Northside High School was placed on administrative leave after allowing the rapper to pay a visit to the school to speak to students.<\/p>\n\n\n\n
Lil Boosie was greeted with cheers and smiles from students when he stepped into the gymnasium to deliver inspirational words of wisdom to the kids. In what many felt was a kind gesture, it was frowned upon by school officials.<\/p>\n\n\n\n
Lil Boosie spoke out to a Louisiana news outlet stating, “I feel bad about it man because, it was a genuine situation. All I did was said a few words to uplift the kids about life, about purpose, about things like that. The kids enjoyed it.”<\/strong><\/em> He went on to say, ” I went in there and gave these kids what I done been through. What not to do, what not to do, if you want to be somebody.<\/em><\/strong><\/p>\n\n\n\n Shortly before visiting the high school Lil Boosie was given a plaque and proclamation designating May 10th as Lil Boosie Day in St. Landy Parish.<\/p>\n\n\n\n Lil Boosie is asking for school leaders to give the principal another chance.
