Peace and greetings to my FleetMag readers. Before we get into this story about Fetty, I want you to imagine something with me. Imagine going into your bathroom by yourself and then being locked in there for 4 years. Let\u2019s take this one step further. Now, imagine you had to do that and share that same bathroom with another individual you don’t know. This is what our brother Fetty Wap had to endure for the last 4 years. The reason he ended up in prison is completely his fault. He gave us some insight into what led him down the wrong path, even while being a very successful recording artist and earning millions of dollars from his hit songs \u201cTrap Queen\u201d and \u201cTime\u201d.<\/p>\n\n\n\n
Fetty was sentenced to six years for a federal drug trafficking case. He pled guilty and served 4 years in Sandstone, Minnesota. Upon his release, the artist revealed his desire to get right back to the music that he missed most while incarcerated.<\/p>\n\n\n\n
Fetty\u2019s first interview upon release was with the Breakfast Club. He got to explain the ups and downs he faced while in prison. He spoke a lot about time and what it means to him now. He stressed the importance of giving back to the children and implementing some programs to help youth, which was refreshing to hear. He also talked about the relationships that led him to prison and how he plans to stay away from those types of elements moving forward.<\/p>\n\n\n\n
